What is kansas coliseum?

The Kansas Coliseum was a multi-purpose arena located in Valley Center, Kansas. It opened in 1987 and had a seating capacity of approximately 9,686 for concerts and 9,332 for sporting events. The arena was home to the Wichita Thunder ice hockey team and hosted a variety of events including concerts, trade shows, and sporting events.

In 2010, the Kansas Coliseum was closed and subsequently demolished in 2012. The decision to demolish the arena was made due to the declining condition of the building and the high maintenance costs required to keep it operational.
